I just went on an eight-day silent retreat, and apparently my inner narrator didn’t get the memo that it was to remain silent.

Do you have constant thoughts/narration running through your head? What does it sound like?
Since practising mindfulness, I've been horrified at how much I talk to myself in my head, and how much of it is negative and untrue. What does it sound like? A blog about making art and other things using cloth, paper, paint, colour, stitch, and all sorts of exciting techniques, some of which I'm sure I still have to discover! (By 'head', I'll assume you mean 'mind'.)
